Recycling and hazardous waste facility will serve Antioch

A new recycling center is preparing to open and it will offer convenience to residents of Antioch and Southeast Nashville.

The center, as a partnership between Metro Public Works and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, will be located at 3254 Ezell Pike. Services that will be available include recycling and household hazardous waste disposal. This will be Nashville’s second household hazardous waste facility.


This is an interior shot of the facility, which will open to the public soon.

The center will also accept brush, leaves, recycling, household trash, bulky items (couches, stoves, etc), tires, and the aforementioned household hazardous waste.

Hours will be Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays noon to 4 p.m.

Additional partners include Rock City Construction Co., Inc., and Triad Environmental Consultants.

The facility is expected to open very soon. Check back with for details on the upcoming grand opening.
