Detectives working to ID Antioch burglary suspect

robbery suspectSouth Precinct detectives are working to identify two men who on New Year’s Day robbed a man as he walked to his car in the driveway of his Bart Drive residence in Antioch.

The suspects approached the victim from behind at 9:30 p.m. and placed a gun to the back of his head.  They told him not to turn around or they would kill him.  The suspects then took the victim’s 2006 Gold Nissan Murano and drove off.

Officers located the stolen SUV at a convenience store on Haywood Lane.  The driver of the Murano fled and eluded capture.  He is a black man who is clean shaven with short hair.  He wore a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.  He is approximately 5’11” tall.

The second suspect wore a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and drove an older model grey Chevrolet Impala.  He is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs 150 pounds.
