A community meeting Thursday night revealed serious opposition to proposed halfway housing in Antioch.
The meeting, hosted by Tanaka Vercher, the District 28 Metro Council Member, was intended to discuss three proposed projects for the Antioch area:
- Valor Ridge – Proposed transitional residential complexes for offenders.
- Sophia’s Heart – Proposed transitional housing for families.
- Payne Estates/Reeves Road – Single family residential projects.
Representatives of the project and from Metro government departments were on hand to discuss.
