Local private schools start year with worship

Antioch’s two major private Christian schools, Ezell-Harding Christian School and Lighthouse Christian School,have thrown up the praise this past week.

Lighthouse Christian School held a back-to-school revival to mark the return of students from Christmas break.

On Friday, LCS Founder and President Dr. Al Henson challenged Middle and high school students from the Bible while student leaders directed several small groups to discuss what was learned.

“We are very proud of our students and their hearts for Christ and each other,” Brian Sweatt, headmaster of Lighthouse Christian School said.

Ezell-Harding Christian School was also busy with worship. Dr. Dan Boone, president of Trevecca Nazarene University, spoke to the students during the first Family Chapel of 2015 on the topic of “our story.”

Dave Senn led the full gym in worship as well.
