Antioch Middle Prep to launch free English program for parents

maxresdefaultWith more than a quarter of its student population classified as English Language Learners, Antioch Middle Prep is launching a new free program in conjunction with the Metro Schools Department of English Learners.

On March 1 and 2, Antioch Middle Prep will host two separate events to introduce parents to the English language software program DynEd. Metro Schools Department of English Learners has provided AMP with the program that parents can take home to learn at their own pace.

Parents who are interested in participating in this free program should RSVP and plan to attend either the March 1 event from 6-7:30 PM, or the March 2 event from 8-9:30 AM. Food will be served, and parents will learn how to use the program.

Antioch Middle Prep is located at 5050 Blue Hole Road in Antioch and serves students who transition from Cole and Cane Ridge Elementary Schools. Eighth grade students are promoted to Cane Ridge High School, where they have the opportunity to learn in career-themed Academies of Nashville. Celia Conley serves Antioch Middle Prep as the new Executive Principal.
