Ezell students rock it in ‘Flakes!’

ezellTalent was on display Thursday night as the first and second grade classes at Ezell-Harding Christian School performed the musical “Flakes!”

The evening featured speaking parts from each student, a bit of dancing and five musical numbers.

The story is about snowflake and snirts (a combination of snow and dirt) looking for their identity among so many that seem so alike.

The musical was directed by Lisa Northcutt with help from teachers Trudy Chandler, Debbie Frankum, and Gretchen Jones.

Participants were:

Mrs. Jones First Grade Class: Brody Compton, Erin Dalton, John Hernandez, Rhylee Massey, Alyssa Morgan, Marlie Russell, Millard Thomas, Ella Steward, Haley VAndermeer, and Eliab Yohannes.

Mrs. Chandler’s First Grade Class: Sosa Aluyi, Emory Betts, Maggie Gibson, Chloe Harrington, Julianna Harrison, Adyson Heimert, Angelo LaMattina, Madison Morgan, Tate Morris, Jada Oldham, and Daniel Shehata.

Mrs. Frankhum’s Second Grade Class: Addison Barcroft, Coby Blton, Kayla Campbell, Emma Charlton, Luke Duffey, Ellie Freudenthal, Kieran Hargrove, Zavier Key, Jules Maggard, Terry Nguyen, Ethan Ollis, Vivi Pham, Kennedy Quattlebaum, Olvia Rogers, Malachi Sylvain, Carter Tidwell, Brayden Trauernicht, Kaidyn Wallace, and Jaxson White.
