The housing market in Antioch continues to look promising for sellers.
For the week ending January 27, the site Truilia.com reports that the average list price increased slightly (.4 percent) to $183,646.
For the quarter ending January 16, median sales prices were up by $10,600, or 7.6 percent, year-over-year to $150,000.
The average price per square foot is $92, and the site lists 140 homes for sale in Antioch.
Over at the real estate site Movoto.com, 74 homes were listed for sale. No other current market data was listed, the most recent being a median list price of $176,875 from one month ago.
The site Zillow.com returned only 150 homes for sale in a search of 37013. Zillow also says that the median sales price this year is $152,600 and the average home value is $157,400, which is an increase over the last two years.
The site said that through the end of 2015, Antioch’s foreclosure rate was 10 homes per 10,000, higher than Nashville’s average of five homes per 10,000 and the national average of three per 10,000. While home valuations are growing, this figure continues to keep the market somewhat down.
Still, Zillow rates Antioch as a “hot” buyer’s market.
Realtor.com lists 292 homes for sale. They also say the median list price in Antioch is $180,000 and the median closing price is $160,000.
