A lot of things are going on in Antioch – some good and some not so good. Related, there are two community meetings coming up that may impact Antioch.
On Thursday, February 25, Council Member Karen Johnson is hosting a District 29 Community Meeting at Smith Springs Church of Christ, 2783 Smith Springs Road. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Another meeting taking place in the not too distance future is a meeting of the Steering Committee for Keep Southeast Nashville Healthy.
The meeting will be Tuesday, March 1st at 6 p.m. at the Cane Ridge Community Center and will focus on the proposed Columbia Gas Company compressor station, which will be located in Cane Ridge at the corner of Barnes Road and Old Hickory Boulevard.
Formal introductions of the steering committee will be made, and an update on steps being taken to oppose the compressor station will also be provided.
