Detectives in Metro Nashville conducted undercover operations resulting in 94 arrests, mostly for drugs and prostitution, including in Antioch.
Our friends in the South Precinct charged 12 people resulting from investigations on Dresden Court, Baby Ruth Lane, 1st Avenue South, Una Antioch Pike, Tampa Drive, Whispering Oaks Drive, and Tanglewood Court. They seized 8 grams of marijuana, 1.2 grams of cocaine, .1 gram of MDMA, and .6 gram of heroin.
The Hermitage Precinct, which covers a portion of Antioch was active, but not in our community. Still, Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lakeland Drive, Patricia Drive, Jacksonian Drive, and Old Hickory Boulevard. Seized were 8 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of cocaine, 4 pills, 21 grams of heroin, 8.2 ounces of methamphetamine, 1 gun, and $450 cash.
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Edgehill Avenue, Wedgewood Avenue, Harding Place, Horton Avenue, and Edmonson Pike. Seized were 130 grams of marijuana and a small caliber pistol.
West Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on River Road at Charlotte Pike, River Road at River Road Pike, River Road at Old Charlotte Pike, and Alabama Avenue at 50th Avenue North. Seized were 39.2 grams of marijuana, 1.6 grams of heroin, and 1 vehicle.
North Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Buchanan Street, Jefferson Street, Charlotte Pike, and Brick Church Pike. Seized were 33 grams of marijuana, 4.5 grams of cocaine, .5 gram of heroin, 2 vehicles, and $462 cash.
Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Elmore Drive, Gallatin Road, Royal Parkway, Ocoee Trail, and McArthur Drive. Seized were 2 grams of marijuana, 1 pill, 2 guns, and $2,370 cash.
East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Road, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Road, Donald Street, Ben Allen Road, and Porter Road. Seized were 28.5 grams of marijuana, 7.5 grams of cocaine, 2.5 grams of heroin, 1 vehicle, and $860 cash.
Central Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Fort Negley Boulevard, 4th Avenue North, 8th Avenue South, and Lafayette Street.
