We respect and appreciate the officers who work in the South Precinct and are delighted when we see good things happen.
Newly appointed Sergeant James McDugle, who has been on the Metro Police Department for eight years, has been named a new supervisor on the South Precinct’s evening shift. McDugle, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Greenville College in Illinois, is currently working in the West Precinct.
At the same time, Chief Steve Anderson today announced the promotion to the rank of lieutenant Blaine Whited, a nine-year police department veteran. He will oversee the Midtown Precinct’s evening shift. Sergeant Whited is currently a supervisor at the Training Division.
Both officers assume their new roles and their new duties on April 1.
