Focus group raises questions from SENU

On Wednesday, May 11, Sheriff Daron Hall contacted some members of the Southeast Nashville Community asking them to join him in a Focus Group. The stated purpose of the group is to actively discuss the temporary move of inmates to the Harding Place facility and to report on other operational issues during the temporary relocation of inmates.

Sheriff Hall’s stated plan is to meet monthly for the next six months and then evaluate the continued frequency or need after that.
The Sheriff reached out to ONLY seven (7) community members to be a part of this Focus group.
While  the citizens selected for the Focus Group appreciate the effort he is making and look forward to these sessions, they strongly feel that this is a conversation that should involve all of the stakeholders in our greater community and encourage Sheriff Hall to set up a community meeting as soon as possible.
Additional information may be found on the Facebook Page for Southeast Nashville United (SENU).
Anyone who would like to submit questions or make comment to members of the Sheriff’s Focus Group is strongly urged to do so.
