Detectives make multiple arrests in and around Antioch

Detectives from the South and Hermitage Precincts, both of which cover Antioch, were hard at work again last week, accounting for the largest percentage of undercover arrests last week.

The two precincts combined for 34 of 110 undercover arrests.

In the South Precinct, the 22 arrests were the result of investigations along Ottenville Avenue, Benita Drive, Hickory Hollow Terrace, Shasta Drive, Wallace Road, and Largo Drive.  Officers seized 1.7 grams of cocaine, eight grams of marijuana, six pills, two guns, and $2,006 cash.

In the Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Lebanon Pike, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Jackson Trace, Bell Road, and Andrew Jackson Parkway.  They seized 6.3 grams of cocaine, 8.2 grams of heroin, 122 grams of marijuana, 25 pills, and $892 cash.

In other precincts:

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 6 persons as the result of investigations on Garrett Drive, Nolensville Pike, Wedgewood Ave, and Trousdale Drive. Seized were 93 grams of marijuana, .6 gram of cocaine, two pills, one gun, and $474 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Tennessee Avenue and White Bridge Road.  Seized were ten pills, 2.6 grams of marijuana, and one gram of cocaine.

North Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on West Hamilton Road, Dr. D.B. Todd Jr. Boulevard, Buchanan Street, and West Trinity Lane.  Seized were one gram of cocaine, 42 grams of marijuana, and one gun.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Lemont Drive, Gallatin Pike, and Webster Street. Seized were one handgun, one vehicle, and $669 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, Queen Avenue, Eastland Avenue, and Riverwood Drive.  Seized were one gram of heroin, 29.5 grams of marijuana, 19 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, and two handguns.

Central Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Hermitage Avenue, 8th Avenue South, Peabody Street, 5th Ave South, and Murfreesboro Pike. A small amount of cocaine and marijuana were recovered.
