Two, including one from Antioch, charged in murder

Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force today arrested a second suspect in the February 11th fatal shooting of Corvel Conley, 21, inside a car at the intersection of Rural Hill Road and Bridgecrest Drive.


Jary Martinez, 20, was taken into custody without incident today in Murfreesboro on a grand jury indictment charging him with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.  Martinez is jailed in lieu of $155,000 bond.

Chad Edwards, 21, was arrested Friday night at a Hickory Highlands Drive apartment in Antioch on a grand jury indictment charging him with two counts of first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.  He remains jailed in lieu of $250,000 bond.

The investigation was led by South Precinct Detective Lori Gross.   No additional arrests are expected in this case.
