Undercover detectives make multiple Antioch-area arrests

Our local undercover officers were hard at work last week, bringing in more than a few bad guys and making a number of seizures.

The undercover detectives in the South and Hermitage Precincts, both of which cover portions of Antioch, made 33 arrests, accounting for 27.5 percent of all undercover arrests last week.

Seizures included heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, pills, and cash.

South Precinct detectives focused their efforts on Murfreesboro Pike, Parris Avenue, Una-Antioch Pike, Hickory Park Lane, Elysian Fields Road, Harding Place, and Nolensville Pike while Hermitage Precinct detectives concentrated on Lebanon Pike, Andrew Jackson Parkway, Bell Road, Castlegate Drive, Nodyne Drive, Donelson Pike, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Blackwood Drive, and Murfreesboro Pike.

Elsewhere in Nashville:

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Old Hickory Boulevard, Nolensville Pike, Edmondson Pike, and Trousdale Drive.  Seized were 167 grams of marijuana, 1 vehicle, 1 gun, and .6 gram of cocaine.

West Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Hemstead Drive, Urbandale Avenue, River Road, and Nevada Avenue.  Seized were 8 grams of marijuana.

North Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Clarksville Pike, Kings Lane, 14th Avenue North, and Tucker Road.  Seized were 3 grams of heroin, 14.5 grams of cocaine, and 9 grams of marijuana.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Gallatin Pike, Rivergate Parkway, McGavock Pike and Apple Valley Drive.  Seized were 580 grams of marijuana, 3 pills and 1 shotgun.

East Precinct detectives charged 19 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Road, Litton Avenue, Walton Lane, North 5th Street, Cleveland Street, and Montgomery Street.  Seized were 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 10.5 grams of marijuana, 11 Xanax pills, 4 Oxycodone pills, and 28 other assorted pills.

Central Precinct detectives charged 25 persons as the result of investigations on Drexel Street, Spring Street, Middleton Street, 8th Avenue South, 5th Avenue South, and Lafayette Street.  Seized were 4 ounces of cocaine, 9.8 grams of heroin, 27 grams of marijuana, .4 gram of crack cocaine, 35 Oxycodone pills, 6 Xanax pills, 1 pistol, 1 vehicle, and 11,715 cash.
