The 4th Annual Middle Tennessee Health Fair will be held Saturday at the Southeast Regional Community Center in Antioch. It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This event has the stated goals of “Empowering and Educating Minorities to Close the Health Gap,” and “Bringing Providers and Community Members Together.”
There will be medical and dental screenings and an abundance of healthy lifestyle information available free of charge. There will also be free backpacks and school supplies given away on a first come, first serve basis. Snacks will be provided.
There will also be a raffle giving away bicycles to two participants.
The event is presented by the Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Sponsors include Sam’s Club, MJC Insurance Group, Heritage Media, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee.
