Undercover detectives make numerous busts

Our hardworking undercover detectives were at it again last week, charging 115 people with various crimes throughout Nashville.

Closer to home, South and Hermitage Precinct, both of which cover parts of Antioch, charged some 37 people with various crimes. Seized were 21.6 grams of cocaine, 10.4 grams of heroin, 17.7 grams of marijuana, 21.5 pills, four guns, and $1,998 in cash.

Investigations focused around Harding Place, Fieldstone Drive, Tanglewood Court, Murfreesboro Pike, Parris Avenue, 1st Avenue South, Linbar Drive, Bell Road, Woodland Point, Old Hickory Boulevard, Briley Parkway, Elm Hill Pike, Mecca Drive, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Interstate 40, and Nodyne Drive at Donelson Pike.

Elsewhere in Metro:

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Thompson Lane, Old Hickory Boulevard, Nolensville Pike, Edmondson Pike, and West Trinity Lane. Seized were .1 gram of cocaine and 4 pills.

West Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on White Bridge Road, Charlotte Pike, Rise Avenue, and 42nd Avenue.  Seized were 4.7 grams of marijuana, 7 pills, one gram of cocaine, and 10.8 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

North Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Trinity Lane, Old Matthews Road, Jefferson Street, Meharry Boulevard, Cockrill Street, and Brick Church Pike.  Seized were 2 grams of heroin, .5 gram of cocaine, 63 grams of marijuana, two vehicles, and $10,280 cash.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Hody Drive, Crocker Springs Road, Emmitt Avenue, Rivergate Parkway, and North Dupont Avenue. Seized were 39 grams of marijuana, one gram of crack cocaine and one handgun.

East Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Road, Tillman Lane, Waters Avenue, Walton Lane, Chesapeake Drive, and Douglas Avenue.  Seized were 27.1 gram of cocaine, 3 grams of marijuana, 260 grams of heroin, 24 Oxycodone pills, 16 Oxymorphone pills, 930 Suboxone Strips, one handgun, and $63,898 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Middleton Street, 2nd Avenue South, 4th Avenue South, and Hermitage Avenue. Seized were 61.5 grams of marijuana, 28 Hydrocodone pills, and .3 gram of crack cocaine.
