Metro Nashville Public Schools is currently considering constructing a new elementary school to help address the rapid growth in the Cane Ridge cluster.
District officials, who met with residents in May to get initial feedback on proposed school zone plans, are still working out where the school will be located and where the school’s attendance boundaries will fall.
While the proposal is being finalized, a follow up meeting is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, Aug. 25 at Cane Ridge Elementary School, 3884 Asheford Trace. At the 6 p.m. meeting, district officials will share their draft proposal and ask for feedback and input before presenting their plans to the Metro Nashville Public Schools Board of Education.
The meeting is open to the public.
