As the tail end of the month, we have a bit of a “down” week this week in Antioch. Still there are a few things going on.
Still, like we said, it is a light week, so it is a short post.
As it is every Monday, the Southeast Farmers Market will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. under the awning at the Southeast Branch Library. Local produce, cheesecakes, homemade soaps, fresh meat, Italian ice, seasons, jellies, red beans and rice mixes, soups and hand-painted art are all on the menu. There’s only a couple of weeks left, so head on out and support your Farmers Market.
Looking for some football action? There’s plenty of local action as all four high schools will be playing home games Friday night:
- Cane Ridge (2-0) hosts Hendersonville at 7 p.m.
- Antioch Bears (1-1) will host Wilson Central at 7 p.m.
- Ezell-Harding Christian School (1-1) hosts Gleason at 7:30 p.m.
- Lighthouse Christian School (2-0) hosts Sacred Heart of Jesus at 7 p.m.
As always the Southeast Branch Library has a plethora of activities going on all week long. You can read more about those at this link.
