With Election Day (Nov. 8) only a couple of months away, there are some important dates residents of Antioch need to watch for.
First, if you are not registered to vote, you must be registered at least 30 days prior to an election. According to the Election Commission website, individual forms may be picked up at the Post Office, Public Library, County Clerk, Register of Deeds, Information Desk at the County Court House, the Department of Safety, the State/Metro Departments of Health, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and local branches of the Armed Forces.
Early voting is still about six weeks out and will start on Wednesday, October 19 and run through Thursday, November 3. A range of locations throughout Nashville, including the Southeast Branch Library, will be early voting sites.
