Undercover detectives round up 35

Detectives were very busy last week engaging in undercover work in both the South and Hermitage Precincts.

Detectives from the two precincts that cover parts of Antioch (and other parts of Nashville) charged 35 people with various crimes. They also seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and pills.

Areas of focus were Harding Place, Hickory Hollow Parkway, Hamilton Church Road, Linbar Drive, Murfreesboro Pike, Moss Road, Ottenville Avenue, Murfreesboro Pike, Nashboro Boulevard, Andrew Jackson Parkway, Juarez Drive, Central Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, Lebanon Pike, McGavock Pike, Hammack Drive, Stewarts Ferry Pike, and Percy Priest Drive.

Elsewhere in Nashville:
Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 8 persons as the result of investigations on West Grove Avenue, Trousdale Drive, McIver Street, Nolensville Pike, Edmondson Pike, and Sidco Drive. Seized were 8 grams of marijuana, .45 gram of cocaine, 2 pills, and one gun.

West Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on White Bridge Road, Charlotte Pike, Annex Avenue, and Lenox Avenue.  Seized were more than 1 pound of marijuana, .5 gram of heroin, 1.7 grams of methamphetamine, and six pills.

North Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on West Trinity Lane, Clarksville Pike, Ashland City Highway, Saint Louis Street, and Wheless Street.  Seized were 44.7 grams of heroin, 4.2 grams of cocaine and more than 8 pounds of marijuana.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Hillside Avenue, Doverside Drive, Gallatin Pike, and Conference Drive. Seized were 4 pounds of marijuana and 4 grams of heroin.

East Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Road, Straightway Avenue, Porter Road, Fairwin Avenue, and 41st Avenue North.  Seized were 13.2 grams of cocaine, 1.6 grams of heroin, more than 1 pound of marijuana, 2 Suboxone strips, 3 Xanex pills, 2 vehicles, and $347 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 29 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, Church Street, Middleton Avenue, Drexel Street, and 8th Avenue South. Seized were approximately 5 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of crack cocaine.
