Detectives make arrests, seize guns, drugs and cash

Local detectives in the South and Hermitage precincts arrested 34 people last week.

During the arrests they seized cocaine, marijuana, heroin, meth, pills, three guns and over $5,000 in cash.

Investigations were conducted along Largo Drive, Harding Place, Bell Road, Murfreesboro Pike, Second Avenue South, Lafayette Street, and Nolensville Pike, Central Pike, Jackson Downs Boulevard, Patricia Drive, Waggoner Drive, and Old Hickory Boulevard.

West Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on White Bridge Road, Charlotte Pike, Annex Avenue, and Robertson Road.
Seized were seven pills and 40.2 grams of marijuana.

North Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Trinity Lane, Clarksville Pike, Cephas Street, Drakes Branch Road, and Kings Lane. Seized were 1.1 grams of heroin, 6.2 grams of cocaine, and 23 pills.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Avenue, Chesapeake Drive, Doverside Drive, Conference Drive, and Anderson Road. Seized were 40 grams of marijuana, 18.5 grams of cocaine, two Xanax pills, two handguns, and $4,385 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, Douglas Avenue, and Donald Street.  Seized were 3.2 grams of cocaine, three grams of marijuana, 1.2 grams of heroin, and 18 Percocet pills.

Central Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, 1st Avenue South, Middleton Avenue, Drexel Street, and 8th Avenue South.  Seized were approximately 28 grams of marijuana and two grams of cocaine.
