Ezell-Harding copes with hard loss

14359212_1060685084001340_7753012974968492129_nEzell-Harding Christian is grieving the loss of Miles Ezell, Jr., who, along with his family, played a deep role in the local Christian school community, including Ezell-Harding Christian School.

Friday, wreaths were placed at the school’s entrances and the school flag was lowered to half-staff.

The school issued the following statement to parents, students, and alumni:

You may have seen the white wreath at our entrance, a wreath at our flagpole, and our Ezell-Harding Christian School flag flown at half mast. Today we are honoring the passing of a great man. We extend our sympathy to the Ezell family and the entire Nashville community in the loss of Miles Ezell, Jr., a loyal supporter of many Christian schools, universities, and mission organizations, which also included Ezell-Harding Christian School. Houston Ezell, Miles’ uncle was one of the original founders of Ezell-Harding Christian School. Miles Ezell, Jr. was the President of Purity Dairy for many years and his father, Miles Ezell, Sr. was the founder of Purity Dairy. We ask that you join us in prayers of comfort and peace for this family in the coming days.
