The Metro Council Tuesday will consider an ordinance that would help build out and improve infrastructure related to the Century Farms development, behind Conn’s HomePlus and Floor & Décor, near Interstate 24.
The project is being introduced by Council Member Jacobia Dowell.
The full cost of the infrastructure improvements are estimated at between $6.7 million and $10.3 million. Under the agreement, the city would pay $5.5 million only after inspectors accept the work. The developer, Oldacre McDonald will cover the balance.
The proposal, BL2016-430 goes before the Metro Council on first reading at their Tuesday meeting. You may view the specific agenda item at this link.
