Detectives have busy week

Local detectives from the South and Hermitage Precincts, raking in 32 arrests, mostly for drug and prostitution related charges.

The detectives also scored seizures of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, pills, one gun, and $2,616 in cash. The areas of focus were 2nd Avenue South, Lewis Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Copper Ridge Trail, 2nd Avenue South, Lewis Street, and Copper Ridge Trail

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 9 persons as the result of investigations on Nolensville Pike, Harding Place, Charlotte Avenue, and Wedgewood Avenue.  Detectives seized 144 pills, 12 grams of marijuana, six doses of LSD, and $258 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on White Bridge Road, Charlotte Pike, 51st Avenue North, and Annex Avenue.  Detectives seized 95 pills.

North Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Clarksville Pike, Ed Temple Boulevard, Buchanan Street, Timothy Drive, Judd Drive, and Kings Lane. Detectives seized 6.2 grams of heroin, 5.3 grams of cocaine, 181 grams of marijuana, 47 pills, one handgun, three vehicles, and $4,139 cash.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Kate Street, Madison Boulevard, and Myatt Drive. Detectives seized 1.1 grams of marijuana, .5 gram of cocaine, three grams of heroin, and .25 gram of methamphetamine.

East Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, Eastland Avenue, and Jones Avenue.  Detectives seized more than two pounds of marijuana, 1.1 grams of cocaine, two vehicles, one gun, and $3,753 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 11 persons as the result of investigations on Hermitage Avenue, Lafayette Street, Church Street, Middleton Street, and Drexel Street.
