South Nashville Woman Robbed; Suspects Photographed Trying to Use Stolen Debit Card

South Precinct detectives are hoping clear surveillance pictures from a Dickerson Pike convenience market will lead to the identities of those responsible for Wednesday morning’s brazen armed robbery of a woman outside her apartment on Crossings Boulevard.

The 58-year-old victim was coming home from work and was getting out of her car just after 6 a.m. when a gunman approached her and demanded her belongings.  He took her purse and fled around the side of one of the apartment buildings.

Less than an hour later, persons tried to use her debit card to withdraw money at an ATM located in the Citgo store at 2705 Dickerson Pike.  The store’s surveillance system recorded the suspects who are both wearing black t-shirts.  One of them is also wearing a red hat.

Anyone recognizing the suspects in the attached pictures is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.  Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
