Several community meetings for residents of District 33 have been scheduled by Metro Council Member Sam Coleman.
At 6 p.m. Monday, October 24, a meeting will be held at Thomas Edison Elementary, 6130 Mt. View Road, to discuss stormwater system improvements for Forest Breeze Drive.
He will be holding a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 at Mt. View Elementary School, 3820 Murfreesboro Road, to gain community input on a proposed project on Maxwell Drive.
At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 3, another meeting will be held at Mt. View Elementary. This will be a follow up to an Oct. 2 meeting regarding a development on Old Hickory Boulevard. Representatives of developers Dale & Associates will be on hand.
Finally, a meeting at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 10, will be held at Cane Ridge High School, 12848 Old Hickory Boulevard, to discuss the possible rezoning of 12 to 15 acres of property at 12575 Old Hickory Boulevard. This property belongs to Colonial Pipeline company.
