We here at AntiochTenn.com are proud to announce that the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce recently honored a local business person and community leader.

Eric Jordan, founder and publisher of The Connect Magazine, received the organization’s “Top Corporate Sponsor” award.

“I was totally caught off guard with the award,” Jordan told AntiochTenn.com. “The award was for our Pint Media presence throughout the Southeast Region.”

According to Jordan, “The connect Magazine is dedicated to empowering our readers to live with purpose, be bold in their endeavors, and pursue to success beyond the bottom line. The Connect Magazine is a quarterly lifestyle publication committed to engaging our audience through inspirational stories of entrepreneurs, young professionals, and other individuals in the community committed to making a positive difference in their lives and in the lives of others. The tenets and principles associated with entrepreneurship and the value of living with purpose transcends race, creed, and class, so from the corporate level, to the community, we seek to inform and inspire by exploring the hearts, minds, and stories beyond the bottom line.”

Jordan has been a strong supporter of AntiochTenn.com and many other organizations and businesses in the community. His son, Eric, is a senior at Ezell-Harding Christian School.
