Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), a business unit of Bridgestone Americas that owns and operates 2,200 tire and automotive service centers nationwide, is celebrating its newest Store 2020 in Antioch this Friday, November 11.
The company has transformed its Firestone Complete Auto Care (FCAC) location on Hickory Hollow Lane, from the physical retail environment to the operations infrastructure, to provide a more customer-centric experience.
The Store 2020 program is a key component of Vision 2020, BSRO’s long-term strategy to become the most trusted provider of automotive care in every neighborhood the company serves. The Antioch FCAC provides amenities not typically found at automotive retailers, including concierge service, a customer lounge, charging stations, workspaces, and even tablets pre-loaded with games for kids. Behind the scenes, streamlined operations and enhanced equipment enable FCAC technicians to service vehicles more efficiently than ever before. The goal of these modified daily operations, many of which are modeled after best practices of top retailers, is to empower store teams to deliver exceptional service behind the sales counter and in the service bays, and everywhere in between, meeting the demands of today’s consumers and their expectations for service providers.
This is the latest in a series of significant Bridgestone developments in Antioch. Earlier this year, Bridgestone announced it plans to open its new Service Operations Center in Antioch which will house approximately 450 teammates.
