The annual Southeast Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 8, according to Lorinda Hale, this year’s Planning Committee coordinator.
The 2017 Easter Festival will be held at the Southeast Park and Community Center and Library on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual event, which is entering its 14th year, was established by Council Member Karen Johnson and this year is the second year the Crossings Nashville Action Partnership is sponsoring the event.
New this year is a naming sponsor. Hale said Jack Byrd III has agreed to be naming sponsor.
Sponsors and additional donors are needed to help put on this event, which costs about $15,000. Contributions can be made to CNAP, P.O. Box 1712, Antioch, TN 37013
Vendor booths are also being offered and application forms will be available soon on the Easter Festival website. Booth fees will be $25. Non-profits will be allowed booths for free, but the number allowed will be limited. In the meantime, you can reserve your booth by calling 615-516-3609.
CNAP’s first planning meeting will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Room 3 at the Southeast Community Center. All are welcome to attend.
