Police looking to ID Dollar General robbers

Hermitage Precinct detectives believe surveillance photos from Monday afternoon’s robbery of the Dollar General Store at 3600 Anderson Road will lead to the identification of the two men responsible.

One man went to the counter and demanded money while showing the clerk a pistol in his waistband.  The other man served as a lookout.

The gunman is described as a black man in his early to mid-20s.  He had a mustache, glasses, and wore a blue Los Angeles Rams sweatshirt with a gold strip down the side.  He also wore two stocking hats, one with flaps covering the sides of his face.  There was a New Orleans Saints stocking hat on top of it.

The lookout is described as a bald black man who wore a blue Murry State Racers pullover jacket with “RACERS” written across the front of it.

Anyone recognizing the men from the surveillance photos in the attached PDF is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.  Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.  Persons can also send an electronic tip by texting the word “CASH” along with the message to 274637 (CRIMES), or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
