Area undercover detectives arrest 22

Area undercover detectives were hard at work, arresting 22 in the Antioch/Hermitage area on drug and prostitution related crimes.

All told, detectives from the South and Hermitage precincts seized cocaine, heroin, pot, and pills. Detectives focused on Cedarmont Drive, Nolensville Pike, Harding Place, Antioch Pike, Tanglewood Court, Bell Road, Stewarts Ferry Pike, Old Hickory Boulevard, and Lebanon Pike.

Elsewhere in Nashville:

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Nolensville Pike, Thompson Lane, Division Street, and Harding Place.  Detectives seized three grams of cocaine, 303 grams of marijuana, two guns, one vehicle, and $12,732 cash.

West Precinct detectives charged 14 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, Alabama Avenue, White Bridge, and Moss Road. Detectives seized 75 pills and .1 gram of cocaine.

North Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Clarksville Pike, Buchanan Street, Cockrill Street, Osage Street, and Sulphur Creek Road. Detectives seized 38 grams of marijuana, 4.2 grams of cocaine, five guns, one vehicle, and $456 cash.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Connare Drive, Emmitt Avenue, Dinwiddie Drive, Old Dry Creek, Neelys Bend Road, and Berwick Trail.  Detectives seized 44 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of marijuana, ten grams of methamphetamine, 17 pills, four guns, five vehicles, and $5,986 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Douglas Avenue, and Gallatin Pike.  Detectives seized eight grams of marijuana, 5.7 grams of cocaine, eight Xanax bars, one Lortab pill, one gun, one vehicle, and $27,044 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, 8th Avenue South, Trinity Lane, and 1st Avenue South.

Citizens suspecting drug activity in their neighborhoods are urged to call the police department’s 244-DOPE hotline. Callers to the hotline can remain anonymous.
