Good morning Antioch. It is snowing away on this Saturday morning. What does it mean for the weekend?
As of 7:55 a.m., we are beginning to see some accumulation in yards, however, all reports we’ve seen are that the streets are wet, but not icy/slick. At least not yet.
We have no reports of closings or cancellations of any Saturday activities.
Davidson County is under a winter weather advisory until noon. Forecasts call for the snow – up to 2 inches of accumulation this morning – to turn to rain later in the day and that a high of 43 is expected.
However, that rain will change back to snow this evening and up to an inch of accumulation in Nashville is possible with the southern part of the Cumberland Plateau getting as much as 2 inches. Tonight’s low is expected to be 28.
Sunday will be sunny with a high of 50.
Also, it is Daylight Saving Time. Don’t forget to move your clocks forward one hour tonight, and it is a good time to check those smoke detector batteries.
