Monday in Antioch: April 3

Antioch has a fairly busy week ahead of itself culminating with the awesome Easter Egg hunt, which has become more of a great annual town festival, so let’s dive right in.

The big event is, of course, the annual Southeast Easter Egg Hunt. Thousands of people attend this popular event and this year will be bigger and better than ever. Additions include more characters on hand, an art competition, and so much more. You don’t want to miss it this year!

The Metro Council will meet Tuesday evening and here is the agenda. It’s a length agenda, but there don’t seem to be any Antioch-related zoning items on the agenda.

Weather-wise, expect rain Monday and a chance of rain on Wednesday. Highs will be in the 70s until Thursday when temps drop into the 40s and 50s. Highs will climb back to the 60s for the weekend, and it should be a nice one.

For the Easter Egg hunt Saturday, it will be sunny and pleasant with a high of 68.

Sadly, crime dominated the five most read stories on AntiochTenn.com last week:
