The Antioch real estate market is about as hot as it gets at the moment. Houses aren’t staying listed long and people are looking to move to Antioch.
According to Trulia.com, the median sales price for the period of January 6 through April 5 was $174,500, which was based on 139 home sales. This came out to $107 per square foot, which is a 14 percent increase over last year.
The median rent, according to Trulia.com, was a whopping $1,499 per month.
Trulia.com shows 306 homes for sale in the 37013 zip code.
Homes.com lists 366 residential properties for sale in Antioch.
Movoto.com lists an active inventory of 180 homes with a median list price of $232,000 with a median price per square foot of $121. According to the site, Antioch has seen an 18 percent increase in new listings in the last month.
While there are properties that are just land listed for higher prices, Antioch’s top home listing is a $1.8 million piece of property located at 6103 Mount View Road.
