Tarzan, cleaning, and community meetings make for busy weekend

Spring is here and the weekends in Antioch just seem to get more and more hectic. This weekend is no exception. Here are the top four activities this weekend.

On the entertainment front, the Cane Ridge High School theater department is underway with their performance of Tarzan, a musical based on the Disney cartoon. This show is family friendly and tickets are only $5.

Remaining showtimes are Friday at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. as well as Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Bring the entire family out.

If you are looking for a more carnival-like atmosphere, Ezell-Harding Christian School will have their Stepping Stones Carnival. The event is Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the school and is geared toward ages 2-4.

There will be games, inflatables, pony rides, snow cones, popcorn, and so much more.

Council Woman Jacobia Dowell is sponsoring a neighborhood cleanup and bulk-item drop off Saturday (it’s Earth Day!). It runs from 7 a.m. to noon and volunteers are welcome. Meet at the Global Mall.
