Baseball victory: Lighthouse Christian wins second state championship this Spring

Lighthouse Christian School of Antioch, Tennessee had a second team win a State Championship!

The LCS Boys Varsity Baseball  team won 6-5 in a game that had fans on the edge of their feet. “The boys worked hard, played as a team and became young men that came out winners!” said, Coach Bryan Hollis

Saturday’s championship game, played at Lighthouse Christian School in Antioch was an intense game. The team played Berean Christian Academy from Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

LCS student, Cam Ridley was voted Tournament MVP along with Nyles Robie, Kory Andrews and Demaro Isom Jr. being awarded All Tournament Team.

“We very excited for our Boys Varsity Baseball Team said Brian Sweatt, LCS Headmaster. They worked together as a team, played very hard and in the end gave the glory to God for their win. This is what the athletic program here at Lighthouse is all about.”

Lighthouse Christian School has been in existence for 40 years. The school is located in Antioch Tennessee with students from Preschool – 12 grade. LCS has won several state championships in several sports, with the most recent historical Varsity Boys Soccer win and not LCS adds another State Title with the Boy Varsity Baseball Team!
