13 arrested in Antioch area on drug charges

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 92 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

South Precinct detectives, who cover most of Antioch, charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lewis Street, Trimble Street, Murfreesboro Pike, Bell Road, Largo Drive, and Harding Place. Detectives seized .5 gram of heroin, five grams of marijuana, 30.5 pills, and one gun.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Sandborn Drive, Bell Road, Thompson Lane, and Kimberly Drive. Detectives seized 38.4 grams of cocaine, 2,852.50 grams of marijuana, five doses of LSD, .3 gram of heroin, .1 gram of methamphetamine, 32 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, one handgun, and $1,480 cash.

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Nolee Pike, Harding Place, Bell Road, Old Hickory Boulevard, Tusculum Road, and Trousdale Lane. Detectives seized 195 grams of marijuana, 45 grams of THC wax, 13.5 grams of heroin, 17 pills, .25 grams of cocaine, one gun, and $1,633 cash.

West Precinct detectives did not conduct operations this week.

North Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Clarksville Pike, Brick Church Pike, Eden Street, Artic Avenue, and Trinity Lane. Detectives seized 30.8 grams of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana, and one handgun.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Denson Avenue, Nesbitt Lane, Old Hickory Boulevard, and South Graycroft Avenue. Detectives seized 39.5 grams of heroin, 131 grams of marijuana, one stolen gun, and $3,230 cash.

East Precinct detectives charged 16 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, Brick Church Pike, North 8th Street, and Greenfield Avenue. Detectives seized 7.1 grams of marijuana, 5.5 grams of cocaine, 2.2 grams of heroin, 98 prescription pain pills, two handguns, one vehicle, and $710 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 13 persons as the result of investigations on Lafayette Street, 5th Avenue South, Middleton Street, 2nd Avenue South, and 4th Avenue South.
