Southeast Nashville Farmers Market continues its run

Antioch’s own Farmers Market, the Southeast Nashville Farmers Market, is Monday evening from 4 to 7 p.m.

The number of vendors and farmers continue to grow each week. There is also free yoga offered at 6 p.m. Of course you can also enjoy the library, community center, park, and Ford Ice Center while visiting the Farmers Market.

Of course, the centerpiece is the abundance of fresh, locally grown produce and local goods.

This week, there will be a special event for pet lovers.

Music City Animal Rescue will be doing a Microchip event, so bring your dogs on leashes please and your kitties for $10 microchip  There will be a food demo to teach you how to make your own pet food, and snacks for your pets. They will have pets for adoption as well. and are taking the below-mentioned donations to help rescued animals in need.

The non-profit organization will be accepting donations, too. Needs include:

  • Canned food, cat or dog
  • Gift Cards for other essentials like
    clumping cat litter /medicines/leashes/flea treatments/dog and cat beds etc.
  • Dog & Cat Kennels/toys of all kind
  • Money or check donations

The farmers market is held at 5260 Hickory Hollow Parkway in Antioch, next to the Global Mall near the library.
