Contribute to the art at Smith Springs Community Center

Council Member Karen Johnson, District 29, is inviting community members to participate in the public art that will be featured at the Smith Springs Community Center.

A “Smith Springs Community Center Art Meetup” will be 9:30 a.m. until noon, Saturday, July 15. This great opportunity will be held at the Nelson Andrews Leadership Lodge, 3088 Smith Springs Road.

The public is invited.

Artist Herb Williams, the artist chosen to create the public artwork, will be on hand with a questionnaire that will allow you to share experiences from the Smith Springs area, experiences that will help him create the art work.

All ages are invited.

According to Johnson, you do not have to live in District 29 to participate. All are welcome.
