Keenan Cook sought in three robberies Monday

Arrest warrants have been issued against Keenan Cook, 30, charging him with the following three convenience market robberies that occurred between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. today:

•    At 5 a.m., the man approached a clerk at Exxon, 4198 Murfreesboro Pike in Antioch, under the guise of buying a cup of coffee.  When the clerk opened the register, the robber jumped the counter, punched the clerk in the face, took cash, and fled.

•    At 6 a.m., the same man approached a clerk at Mapco, 18 E. Thompson Lane, under the guise of buying a candy bar.  He then pulled a crowbar from his pants, took money from the register, and fled.

•    At 6:30 a.m., the robber went into Circle K at 2200 Nolensville Pike.  He prepared two cups of coffee.  When the clerk opened the cash drawer to make change for another customer, the robber went to the register, shoved the clerk to the ground, took money and fled.

Investigation by South Precinct detectives led to the identification of Cook as the suspect.  Cook, of Murfreesboro Pike, has previous convictions for theft, kidnapping, domestic assault, and assault.
