TriStar Southern Hills earns A in patient safety from national Leapfrog Group

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center has been recognized with an “A” Hospital Safety Grade by The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit healthcare ratings organization.

TriStar Southern Hills was one of 832 awarded an “A” for its commitment to keeping patients safe and meeting the highest safety standards in the U.S.

Developed under the guidance of a Blue Ribbon National Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 27 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.

“I am proud of the great care provided to our patients by our physicians and staff at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center,” said Joanna Conley, chief executive officer of TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. “We are pleased to celebrate this accomplishment as we continue to strive to provide outstanding, high-quality care to all of our patients.”
