South Precinct detectives score 20 arrests, seize nearly $20K

Undercover detectives assigned to the department’s eight precincts charged 124 persons this week with mostly drug and prostitution offenses as the result of investigations in various Nashville neighborhoods.

 South Precinct detectives, who cover Antioch and then some, charged 20 persons as the result of investigations on Madeline Drive, Trimble Street, Haywood Lane, Tanglewood Court, Whitsett Road, Bell Road, Brittany Park Lane, and Harding Place.  Detectives seized 25.3 grams of cocaine, more than five pounds of marijuana, 58 pills, three guns, and $19,639 cash.

Midtown Hills Precinct detectives charged 12 persons as the result of investigations on Kraft Drive, Nolensville Pike, Edmondson Pike, Amalie Court, Trousdale Lane, and Thompson Lane.  Detectives seized three grams of cocaine, 5.5 pounds of marijuana, and $235 cash.

Hermitage Precinct detectives charged 25 persons as the result of investigations on Claridge Drive, Old Hickory Boulevard, Bell Road, Dodson Chapel Road, Charles E. Davis Jr. Boulevard, McCann Street, Lafayette Street, and Elm Hill Pike.  Detectives seized two grams of cocaine, six grams of marijuana, two grams of methamphetamine, and one gun.

West Precinct detectives charged 7 persons as the result of investigations on Charlotte Pike, Pennsylvania Avenue, and 40th Avenue North.  Detectives seized 42 grams of marijuana and ten pills.

North Precinct detectives charged 18 persons as the result of investigations on Clarksville Pike, Brick Church Pike, Clay Street, Baptist World Center Drive, 16th Avenue North, and Osage Street. Detectives seized 2.4 grams of cocaine, 1.1 grams of heroin, and five grams of marijuana. Detectives also recovered one stolen vehicle.

Madison Precinct detectives charged 10 persons as the result of investigations on Gallatin Pike, Chesapeake Drive, Snow Avenue, and Pierce Road.  Detectives seized 28 grams of marijuana.

East Precinct detectives charged 15 persons as the result of investigations on Dickerson Pike, Trinity Lane, Gallatin Pike, and Joseph Avenue. Detectives seized 195.2 grams of marijuana, 15.2 grams of cocaine, 36 Lortab pills, one vehicle, and $1,318 cash.

Central Precinct detectives charged 17 persons as the result of investigations on Jefferson Street, Lafayette Street, Broadway, and Middleton Street.
