The 22-year-old Wednesday actress recently surprised fans when she named Simone's 1978 track "Baltimore" as her song of the summer, leading a whole new group of fans to listen to the soothing reggae hit.

Ortega was asked about her "song of the summer" during a Rolling Stone interview back in May, where she named "Baltimore" due to it's "easy" energy that makes it perfect for the beach.

A YouTube video of Simone's track has since been inundated with messages from new fans who say they discovered the song as a result of Ortega's recommendation.

"Jenna Ortega said it was the song of the summer sooo I’ll try it :)" one user wrote in the YouTube comments, while several others admitted, "Jenna Ortega brought me here."
