Arkansas Trooper Flips Fleeing BMW And His Cruiser

Newly release footage shows an Arkansas trooper flip a fleeing BMW as well as his own cruiser during a hair-raising chase. We can’t believe people still run from police in Arkansas, especially with dashcam footage like this.

Watch a driver go flying after a trooper PITs his car.

The incident took place on July 5, 2025 in Garland County. Deputies were in pursuit of the Bimmer for an unspecified reason when the trooper who was in the area jumped in to help.

You see him in the first part of the footage getting around the deputies who are tailing the SUV as the rural highway they’re on goes from fairly challenging two rough, twisty, and about the worst stretch to be engaging in a high-speed chase.

Maybe to you this is a testament to the handling dynamics of BMWs, even the SUVs, but to us this is a testament to the stupidity of the suspect fleeing in those kinds of conditions. After all, both he and the trooper almost go off the road multiple times and with trees right where the pavement ends, that could’ve ended in a fatality.

Instead, the suspect keeps pushing his little German utility vehicle, however he just can’t shake the trooper. That’s when he appears to just hit his brakes, a curious move we’ve seen before.

About the only time that’s really effective is when there’s a side street the suspect can go down, then take some rapid turns to lose his pursuer. Instead, the two-lane highway is the only road around.

Did the guy think he was going to reverse roles and start chasing the trooper?

Instead, when he inevitably goes around the ASP cruiser, the trooper clips the side of the BMW in PIT maneuver attempt. Not too long after, the trooper chases the suspect down again, rear-ending his vehicle before pitting it for real.

That in turn flips the BMW and the cruiser. While it stops the chase, you can hear the trooper sigh before he climbs out of his overturned car, knowing he’s going to have a ton of paperwork to fill out for trashing his ride.
