Accounting firm EY has appointed Kate Jarman as the new Leeds office managing partner.
Bringing more than two decades of experience to the role, she will lead a team of approximately 500, aiming to enhance the firm's client services across the region.
Jarman succeeds Tim West, who has held the position since July 2022 and will now concentrate on his responsibilities within EY's Business Tax Services team.
Kate Jarman's journey with EY began with an internship, followed by her joining the Leeds Audit practice as a graduate.
She gained a promotion to Partner in October 2020. For the past four years, Jarman has been at the helm of the Leeds Audit business.
Possessing a diverse background in retail, energy, consumer products, and manufacturing sectors, Jarman’s experience extends to working with some of Yorkshire's leading businesses, as well as UK-listed and private equity-backed companies.
Jarman said: “I am incredibly proud to be taking on this role. We have a fantastic team here in Leeds and moved into new offices last year as part of our continued investment in our regional business. Leeds has a vibrant business community and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can continue to achieve together.”
