Phoenix developer Habitat Metro has recently completed the latest addition to its Eco series of sustainable apartment buildings with the opening of Eco Phoenix in Phoenix's Roosevelt Row Arts District. The five-story, 125,000-square-foot building boasts 70 units ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments, all designed with sustainability in mind.

The green features of Eco Phoenix include a solar array on the rooftop that offsets residents' energy bills by up to 50%, greywater recycling, electric vehicle charging stations, a car-share program for residents, energy-efficient light fixtures, and high-performance insulation and windows. The units themselves feature quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, and stainless steel appliances.

Residents of Eco Phoenix also have access to a rooftop pool and spa, a fitness center, and lawn games. The property also includes over 3,300 square feet of retail space and is located within walking distance of Roosevelt's Metro light rail station.

"Eco Phoenix supports the city's ongoing commitment to sustainable growth while providing residents with access to eco-conscious living in the Downtown urban core and one of the city's most dynamic neighborhoods," said Paul Ladensack, partner at CCBG Architects.

The first Eco property, Eco Mesa, was completed in Mesa, Arizona in September 2023. A third building in the series, Eco Mesa East, is expected to be completed by January 2027.
