Iowa Native Peggy Whitson to Command Fourth Private Astronaut Mission to International Space Station
IOWA(KCAU) — After several delays, the fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station is set to launch at 1:31 a.m. Tomorrow morning, June 25, from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Iowa native Peggy Whitson, a former NASA astronaut and director of human spaceflight at Axiom Space, will command the commercial mission.

The private mission also carries the first astronauts from Poland and Hungary to stay aboard the International Space Station.
