Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are reportedly planning a grand three-day-long wedding in Venice, Italy, but they're not taking any chances with the looming protests. According to sources, the couple has made several contingency plans to outsmart and stay a step ahead of any disruption from demonstrators.

The couple has booked several venues across a range of dates to "mislead" any attempts at disruption, according to Page Six. They have calculatedly "kept multiple options open" and intend to strategically confuse and "mislead paparazzi and protesters" while ensuring back-up plans are in place in case of "last-minute logistical setbacks." The guest list includes big names like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Karlie Kloss, and Joshua Kushner, among others.

A group called No Space for Bezos launched protests last week, days ahead of the wedding. Demonstrators plastered banners and posters of the Amazon founder across the city, reportedly criticizing him for treating the Italian city like a "showcase." The group's spokesperson and activist, Federica Toninello, told Page Six that they "reject the exploitative logic that sees the city as a commodity."

Despite the protests, Venetian officials are reportedly spearheading efforts to host the three-day ceremony in the city as an "ideal" venue. Reports suggest 200 guests will attend the events from June 24 to 26.

It's clear that Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are going all out for their wedding, with no expense spared to ensure a smooth and safe event. However, it remains to be seen how the protests will impact the festivities. Only time will tell if their contingency plans will be enough to keep the paparazzi and protesters at bay.
