Kevin James Surprises Fans with Hilarious Concert Cameo as Jelly Rolls Twin in Ohio
Kevin James, known for his iconic role as Ray Barone on the beloved sitcom "The King of Queens," delighted fans at the Buckeye Country Superfest in Ohio on June 21, 2024. The 60-year-old actor joined forces with 40-year-old country singer Jelly Roll on stage to perform Jelly Roll's single "Need a Favor." Both Kevin and Jelly Roll donned matching black outfits, with Kevin wearing black pants, a black short-sleeved T-shirt, a black vest, and a backwards baseball cap. The only difference between them was that Jelly Roll wore platinum chains around his neck and had tattoos on his arms. The hilarious scene was captured on TikTok by a fan and quickly went viral, with comments like "Love the twinning couldn't be more perfect" and "But like Kevin James is Jelly Roll if all of his tattoos are removed." Kevin James is no stranger to making fans happy on the internet. In an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January 2024, he shared the story behind the viral "King of Queens" meme that featured him in a goofy pose with a smirk and shrugged shoulders. He admitted that he knew the pose was awkward when the camera flashed but was promised the picture wouldn't be seen anywhere. The matching shrug pose wasn't the only time Kevin and Jimmy Fallon played pranks during the show. They also performed the "Groundhog Day Song" together, wearing fur-lined parkas and trapper hats. Kevin James has a stand-up tour scheduled for this fall, with tickets now on sale. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll is touring the US this summer and fall and released his latest album, "Beautifully Broken," in October 2024.
