Ever since Kristen Doute became pregnant, any issues she had with former Vanderpump Rules costars lost their importance. Prior to giving birth to daughter Kaia Lily on June 11, The Valley star was focused only on her baby.

Fortunately, several of her Pump Rules friends have also had children and offered helpful advice. Surprisingly, former frenemy Lala Kent has been one of the most supportive during Kristen’s pregnancy journey.

“Strangely enough with Lala, it has been kind of public that we made up,” Kristen recently told Us Weekly. “She’s been really helpful. She lent me a night nurse. She’s talked me through things, and she’s been someone that’s been really great to text.”

Over the years, Kristen and Lala have had their ups and downs. They were on friendly terms after Kristen was fired from VPR in 2020 and were still in contact with each other.

But their friendship hit a major speed bump in November 2023, when Kristen appeared on a podcast with Lala’s former friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. During the podcast, GG stated, “[Lala] has an ego complex, and she has to get off her f*cking high horse.”

Though Kristen looked visibly uncomfortable, she remained silent, later admitting, “I didn’t feel like it was my fight to fight … Who cares what this chick has to say?”

But in January 2024, Kristen publicly complimented Lala’s parenting skills on her podcast. “Lala is an insanely wonderful mother,” she said. “She’s a great mom [and] always puts Ocean first.”

Reportedly, Kristen and Lala reconnected in May 2025, at a baby shower for a mutual friend. At the time, Kristen was heavily pregnant with Kaia, who was due in June. Like many expectant mothers, the only thing that matters when you’re pregnant is your baby. Old grudges are no longer important. Kristen needed support from other moms, and Lala was there for her.
